Christmas Eve Box…

Hello everyone! With the countdown to Christmas being a slim 7 days away (it’s actually crazy how fast it’s gone) I thought it would be a nice idea to share with you one of my family traditions! Every year, for as long as I can remember, my mum has always put together a Christmas Eve present which we would get given about 2 hours before we go to bed on Christmas Eve to get the whole family in full Christmas spirit for the big day!

I think it’s just such a lovely thing to do as a family or even a group of friends to get together to spend a night in together and would definitely recommend it! In this blog I will be sharing some ideas of what these boxes could include! (All links should be available by clicking on the pictures but if not just let me know and I’ll send you the links).

First up- pyjamas!! I can’t get over these Christmas themed PJs, they are just too cute and perfect to snuggle in front of the fire!

Next up some slippers or socks to keep extra cosy! These fluffy sprout socks are just too adorable (although I feel I’ve started a food theme here haha!)

Following on with the unintentional food theme; time for some yummy treats!! Now I’m out Christmas Eve box my mum would always add a hot chocolate sachet, some marshmallows and more often than not a Christmassy mug. Obviously for this choose your or your present receivers’ favourites! For me I would have to go for galaxy hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows! Or if you’re feeling fancy why not have a look at some of the gorgeous hot chocolate sets around!

Another tip o would say is to add in some activities for the family to do as, well as a family. Why not choose your favourite Christmas film (keep an eye out for my favourite festive films blog in a couple days!!) or a puzzle or a new board game (monopoly is always a win!).

So, I hope this has helped you out with a new tradition to add to your Christmas or maybe you also do this? Let me know in the comments!!

Until next time
